- My wife, Lisa, and I have decided that a global financial crisis and an impending worldwide recession was a perfect excuse to beat a retreat from New York City and take a two month sabbatical traveling through India. We are traveling with our son, Nicholas, who is ten and our daughter, Nora, who is turning eight exactly halfway through our trip.

What have you been doing? All well? I miss reading about your adventures. You are lucky to be away. The news here goes from bad to worse. Can't wait for Obama to move into the White House.
