We appreciate everyone's concern but I wanted to reassure everyone that we are okay. We are safely in our hotel in Delhi where security is significantly tighter than it was previously. We have been in touch with the US Embassy and are following their advice scrupulously.

Thanks for the message. Yes we were/are worried. I knew you were on overnight train to DELHI, but...Ellen forwarded your text message to us. We hope this was a one-time event and good times from now on. I do check your blog everyday (sometimes more than once). What a world we live in. Ellen would recommend extra ice cream today.

We've been thinking about you and following your travels. We printed some of your recent posts and read them yesterday while driving to Maryland for Thanksgiving. The posts are terrific!
