- My wife, Lisa, and I have decided that a global financial crisis and an impending worldwide recession was a perfect excuse to beat a retreat from New York City and take a two month sabbatical traveling through India. We are traveling with our son, Nicholas, who is ten and our daughter, Nora, who is turning eight exactly halfway through our trip.

I've been following your blog here with all your travels. According to your last post, you're nowhere near Mumbai, but my heart is in my throat, neverthless. I hope you're all safe and that you'll post soon to let us know.
