- My wife, Lisa, and I have decided that a global financial crisis and an impending worldwide recession was a perfect excuse to beat a retreat from New York City and take a two month sabbatical traveling through India. We are traveling with our son, Nicholas, who is ten and our daughter, Nora, who is turning eight exactly halfway through our trip.

Hi, its Trina and Ellen. Trina would like to say that your comments are more interesting than the book "video nights in Katmandu". We are off to the park to take Reuben (schmeuben) for a safe run, then we are off for some lunch (We had indian on friday, so I am thinking Thai) and then facials/massages and finally Nobu.
